Walkie Talkies' Hidden Function---Work as Room Monitors

Walkie talkies are amazing tools and you can always find something interesting or hidden function of walkie talkies. Today, I would like to introduce a function of walkie talkies, which can work as children room monitor.

What's room monitor?

A room monitor can be understood as a room alarm. It is a device to remotely monitor the sounds or movement of your babies. It makes use of audio or video to help you look after your baby. The only one purpose of room monitors is to keep an eye on your children when you're not in the same room.

Why we need room monitor?

Samll children are very vulnerable, so they need constant attention. However, parents may not keep an eye on your baby at all times, due to their work or tiredness. If you want to do your report or sleep a while at home, then the room monitor will make huge sense to help you monitor your babies. Once your little baby suddenly wakes up from sleep or cries for something, you will be alerted immediately. 

How to use walkie talkies as a room monitor?

Through there are audio and video room monitor, even more advanced devices on the market, but if you are all the time at home with your babies, the basic audio room monitor is enough. So here I will introduce VOX function, which can work as audio room monitor. VOX function stands for "voice activated transmission". It is usually used to turn on a transmitter or recorder when someone speaks and turn it off when they stop speaking. With this function, you can make the radio hand-free. To a certain extent, VOX function does a good job of transmitting baby talk as room monitor. Turn on this VOX function and set it as proper level, you will be alarmed by babies' noise or cries, even if you are not in the same room. In this way, you can work or sleep as well as keep an eye on your babies at the same time.

Please Note: VOX function can not be equal to or replace the real room monitor, but according to its price and performance, this additional function is very good for money.
