How to Use RT602 Long Range Kids Walkie Talkie

To communicate with each other, please set the same channel and CTCSS/DCS as the other radio. Press and hold PTT button with the radio about 5 cm away from your mouth when talking. Release PTT immediately at the end of your talk .
3. How to set functions of RT602?
Change Channels: Short press the menu item one time to adjust the channel.
Set CTCSS/DCS: Short press the menu item 2 times. This setting is to prevent others from hearing your child's conversations.
Turn on/off VOX: Short press the menu item 3 times. VOX stands for "voice activated transmission". It is usually used to turn on a transmitter or recorder when someone speaks and turn it off when they stop speaking. With this function, you can make the radio hand-free. The VOX of RT602 has 1-3 levels in total. The higher the level, the more sensitive.
Adjust Call Tones: Short press the menu item 4 times to adjust the call tones. RT602 has 10 different call tones.
Turn on/off Touch-Tone: Short press the menu item 5 times to turn on and off the touch tone.
Turn on/off Roger Beep: Short press the menu item 6 times to turn on or off the roger beep. Roger beep means a tone or tones added to the end of a talk to indicate that the operator has concluded speaking. If your partner's walkie talkie turn on the tail tone, you will receive the sound prompt.
Keyboard Lock: Long press M key to enable keypad lock in order to prevent accidental operation.
Scanning Mode: In standby mode, long press C button for 3 seconds to start scanning. The radio stops on the channel where it detects a signal. You press PTT to talk with the other at the moment.
Tips:
1. When RT602 is set with the same frequency and CTCSS/DCS as the repeater, it can be connected to the repeater, which will make the further range.
2. If you want to reset the RT602 to factory defaults, here are the steps: At first, turn off the walkie talkie and remove the battery. Secondly, Keep pressing the power button and reinstall the battery. At last, then turn on the radio, it will restore the factory settings.
